Time for all good DU-ers with NetZero service to switch to another ISP.

1. I just saw a commercial for netscape

that said they offer internet service for $10 a month. If you are the protesting type, consider them.

2. a funny thing happened to me yesterday

I clicked on a link (Ebay) and Netscape window appeared and tried to install itself on my computer.

It was really weird -- especially since I use Firefox as a browser.

It's a pretty agressive marketing technique to be sure.

I use the netscape browser and haven't had any problems with it. I have my local cable company as my ISP.

I live in a medium sized town and we have lots of ISP's in the ten dollar range.

And does Net-Zero have that lame app and tool-bar like Juno? I hate that crap.

A side note. Most ISP's will give you the chance to get much cheaper service if you call to cancel after a few months. My mom swears by AOL (shudder) and I called to have them turn it off and now they only charge her $9.99 per month.

For a nation-wide ISP I like Earthlink. And after a couple of months they will give it to you for ten per month if you threaten to walk.
