Wish me luck, tomorrow is my EEG...
http://oto.wustl.edu/men/mn1.htm

Having found out what an EEG does and what it tests for, I did some more snooping as to what EEG tests for. The above website described symptoms as noticeable to me as a gigantic neon pink target would be to a sharpshooter in a gallery lit by ultraviolet light.

Now maybe it isn't Ménière's disease, but all of these symptoms can't just be a motley collection of similarities.

But I'm jumping the gun. Could be any number of reasons why I have the hearing loss, ear pressure, acute balance problems, anxiety, short-tem memory cohesion, double vision... all that comes and goes.

I didn't return the cane yet, but something tells me I might need to keep it.

But I won't worry. Not for another 13 hours, 34 minutes, 18 seconds. Mark.

:D

But at least I will have an answer. Compared to MS, I'd rather have the French term. :D (I'm part French so it's okay for me to denigrate ethnicity! )

Back in the 70s. The only thing that he could take, that would abate the symptoms? Speed. Dexies. Black Beauties. Whatever.

So the doctors gave them to him.

5. Just so you know
Meniere's is one of the most over-diagnosed maladies that exists--not saying you don't have it, but just be aware that it is often something that is thrown out as an explanation for vertigo, because it is often impossible to figure out what is causing the dizziness. (I've been down this road myself, sadly...)
