I'm not normally into celebrities, but I have quite the crush on
Edited on Tue Dec-28-04 12:31 AM by Bouncy Ball
Ewan McGregor.

He's just delicious. Simply scrumptious. And from what I can tell, smart and funny, too. And that voice. And that face. And that smile. He's a green-eyed devil, he is. If my husband and his wife gave me permission to lick him, it'd be on like Donkey Kong.

Who is your celebrity crush? No grossing me out. Have good taste. (Just half-kidding on those comments.)

1. People who don't know by now will know now.
This guy is my favorite crush of all:

He is, of course, Adrian Paul, best known for his role as Duncan MacLeod on TV's "Highlander."

My other boyfriends are Charles Shaughnessy and John Mellencamp.

Meaning you'd stand at the top of the stairs and throw barrels at Mr. McGregor as he walked up them toward you?

the licking of Ewan would be lasting FOREVER and would drive him crazy!!

I can't go into more details for fear of getting this thread locked, but I'm watching a Ewan movie now, "Young Adam" and I'm hoping to see his McGregor.

45. Obviously I'm a little older than you guys
</tongue in cheek>

I know we've done these threads before, but they're fun.

Back in the 60s, I was madly in love with Mark Lindsay. If you ask "who?" I'll slap you. (I was also 10 when the infatuation became apparent) Then there was David Hedison, Robert Vaughn, Roger Moore, Robert Conrad and Robert Culp. There were others, most not intense, but still visible.

In the 70s, I fell madly in love with Rod Taylor and still have a crush on him. Yes, he's a lot older than me, but in the 60s and 70s, he was a major hunk! I also added a couple to my list: Mike Farrell (when he did Questor, before M*A*S*H), Michael Billington (he of "UFO" fame) and Nick Tate (he of "Space: 1999 fame). I also had a major crush on Robert Ginty (from "Black Sheep Squadron") with whom I had set up an informal but continual correspondence, and Robert Wagner as the star of "It Takes a Thief."

In the 80s, I developed a small crush on Ian Ogilvie when he took over as the new "Saint." And I continued to adore Robert Culp (as Frank Maxwell, in "Greatest American Hero"), and other 60s/70s actors who were still working. I also got a bit of a crush on Michael Caine, though I really didn't have many film actors, mostly TV guys. Harrison Ford was the notable exception. I really liked him a lot, but don't think I was ever really "in love" with him.

I must stop reminiscing now, and try to eat something. :)

I hate to admit it but his throaty gravelly voice just tears me up! In Pitch Black, there's a scene where he's standing in the doorway of a ship and his arms are stretched out and he looks ... tasty.

He is a fine figure of a man. He's not conventionally handsome, which is why I like him, I guess.

He is ever so dreamy....

He is a huge player of D&D, as in Dungeons & Dragons. How do I know that? I play it as well and Diesel wrote part of the intro to the recent D&D 30th anniversary book.

Just kidding on the geek part, as he could kick my ass I'm sure.

I have a killer crush on Matt Damon. Its just so depressing that everything I read about him speculates that he's probably gay, and I think I probably agree.
I would definitely love the chance to find out for myself, though, and, Oh My God! what I would do with that man given half the chance!

Now I feel so sexually confused!

I never really thought he was too attractive until I saw the "Bourne Identity" and "Bourne Supremacy" movies and he became more appealing. Definitely has a very, very nice bod. Haven't heard the rumors that he's gay, though.

As for Ewan McGregor, I didn't like "Big Fish" so I don't really like him at the moment.

I do like Colin Firth, Alan Rickman, Johnny Depp (the more recent version, not the teenybopper version).

55. Mark Ruffalo or Viggo Mortensen
Mark Ruffalo in "In the Cut" or "13 Going on 30".
Two very different movies, but I loved him in both of them. Not your typical sex symbol type.
And Viggo of course, no explanation needed.

65. Gilmore Girls' Luke.

He loses me when he takes off the hat. Something
about the manly man-ness of him.

Which version of him do you prefer? Scruffy Obi Wan, or clean cut like in "Down With Love"?

I just can't get over him.

A cad for modern times. He's throwback and sexy-hot and English. Who could ask for more?

Ewan, close second!
