But don't be scared of the rest of DU, there's wealth of talent and culture beyond the Lounge...try looking into Groups and Non-political Forums...

Too much time in the Lounge and you'll become and uber-narcissistic vanity poster child like me!

I'm a true blue Democrat with shades of green around the edges...I take my political beliefs seriously, but some folks around here take them TOO seriously at times...:shrug:

One of the first threads i ever started was in GD about being form a Blue State and someone sent me a really hateful P.M. because of it.
I kind of decided to hang around the lounge since then...but I still check up on the LBN and the Election2004 Forums...I just don't bother posting there much anymore.

what I love about DU, the varied opinions and talent. If they get too out of hand, I just leave for a time. Things eventually calm down.
