firefox won't let me be logged in to DU?
I can use firefox to lurk, but i have to bring up explorer to
post, as it recognizes my being logged in. I'm sure that some
security setting is doing this, but i'm flumoxed as to what it is.

Anyone know the trick?

1. I don't have an answer, but I have experienced that before
it just flashes right through the login window and takes you back to the lobby, very much not logged in

2. I've been using Firefox exclusively on my new computer
for the past month. (I had the Firefox installer program saved on removable media from the previous computer). I can barely remember the first time, but there was something about yes/no dialog boxes popping up about "accepting cookiees" at each new websiter I visited.

Go to Edit> Preferences> Privacy & Security, and double-click on "Cookies". Check out that page of choices and check/uncheck what makes sense to you. ALWAYS write down on paper your changes! (Do I practice what I preach? NO!).

4. thanks, that sorted it
The box showed allow cookies, but i deleted them all, and re-ticked it
and it worked... methinks therez a bug there somewhere, as it WAS
working, and i actually did not change any setting, only re-setting
it.... thanks... that was the sweet spot.
