Poll question: Who's a bigger chump -- Darrin Stevens or Maj. Anthony Nelson? |
|
Both have hot, significant others with incredible powers. The woman in their lives are forbidden to use those powers unless absolutely necessary.
Either one of those guys could have anything they desired, or live like a an emperor if they wanted to, but instead they get pissed if their wives use their abilities to solve simple problems or make life any easier.
Maj. Nelson is more of a chump because Jeannie practically begs him to use her magic and he still refuses.

1. Darrin's a schmuck, but a sincere schmuck. |
|
The Major's just an arrogant prick - and fairly clueless to boot.
By the way, Dick York is the ONLY Darrin Stevens.

5. Tony is the bigger chump. |
|
Not ONLY does he refuse to let Jeannie use her powers, but she lived with him for years, adoring him, before he made a move on her!

If only she had read some Gloria Steinem or Betty Friedan. Raise her consciousness, for Christ's sake. That "Master" stuff was so 19th Century.
