Poll question: Do you own an iPod? |
|
Let's see just how popular the item is. :-)
I got one for Christmas and love it.

1. I got the 40 GB one for Christmas |
|
but I can't get the damn thing to work. I've wanted one for so long since I'm such an audiophile and my huge computer playlist was killing my laptop and my 300+ CDs are such a pain to lug around

It works great. I've yet to break it. Even though I've dropped it numerous times and even stepped on it.

3. No, because I'm too stupid to know how to download music |
|
I'm still buying CDs.
That's what happens when you're old and you have no teenagers in the house to explain this stuff to you

6. If you do get one, download the iTunes store |
|
You just have to click an import button and then click update iPod. It's easier than you think. :hi:

4. Yep - have one of the old first generation iPods. |
|
Can't use any of the funky new accessories for the latest generation with the dock. Refuse to shell out for another one when my old clunker still works pretty nifty. Would love a BOSE sound dock though.

You can connect it to a stereo for playing, so maybe you can.

I wouldn't want one if I had to pay for it. I like the iRiver and Creative players better because you can see your directory structure.

12. No BUT - have had MP3 players since late 90s and |
|
got a new IRiver (muti-media files) in November.
At first we had Personal Jukeboxes - MP3 files only - first issued in the 90s.
Ah, the perks of marrying a geek....... Bless his heart.

I'm going to have to surgically detach her from it. I got her a stack of CDs for Xmas and she never even listened to them, just immediately downloaded them onto her Ipod. THEN listened to them. I gotta admit, it's a pretty cool technology, but a $50 CD player is plenty for me on the rare occasions I travel far enough to make headphone music a necessity.
