I was born with no eyes to watch canned laughter shows
Edited on Fri Sep-26-03 11:17 PM by NaMeaHou
there are things that make me feel good. One is I've never seen any of those goofy shows that have the most inane dialogue. I still try, but there's not much to choose from.

What's a good show on tv that doesn't force you to laugh with fake live audience laughter or canned shit?

btw: I work and am not in any way disabled. I love this life.

1. Movies are better
Unfortunately even the serious stuff on TV tends to be inane, or ridiculously self-important.

I think TV sitcoms are 60% dialog and I don't think seeing them is much worse than just hearing.

Some shows will announce "live studio audience", but they are responding to an "applause" sign in the studio.

One of my favorite comedies is "The Vicar of Dibley"... with no audience.

BTW- Welcome to DU.
