My husband's and my fantasy football team, Chitlins Con Carne, just won our second straight league championship last night. Woohoooooo!
*Disclaimer*: This is an entirely self-serving thread intended for the purpose of whooping and hollering over our win. If you do not like football or fantasy football, or are PO'd because you did not win your own league championship, feel free to ignore this thread. We did spend five years not even getting into the playoffs, so a two-year winning streak feels pretty good. ;) *end disclaimer*

And that was when I took over an abandoned team that started 1-4. I was barely trying, so I thought this fantasy football thing was a breeze! Every year since then, as I put more effort into it, I sucked worse. Finally this year I just didn't do it. Not worth the panic on Sunday morning - Argh, did I do my rosters?!? and it seems like such a crapshoot in the end anyway.
But congrats anyway! Two years in a row, you must have figured something out!

I like chitlins and love chile con carne. Did you get the name from a secret family recipe? If so, how is it? I would never have thought of using them together.
