4. LOL!!! Al Franken really got the better of him, a pleasure to watch
My freeper mother watches him religiously and I have often wanted to scream ``SHUT UP!'' at O'Reilly myself, so I particularly enjoyed the Franken confrontation!:-)

15. Four little words
"...And your point is???"

A good friend who's a Unitarian minister taught me this one. It actually makes folks who are going off on a pre-digested rant stop and think.

It also makes well-meaning people who are groping for the right words clarify their thoughts as well. Either way, the chances of *real* communication are enhanced by these four one-syllable words spoken calmly, and with respect.

Unless you're a die-hard freeper, or one of the members of my family whose major joy in life is putting other people down. "Only an idiot would ask that" is my clue to decide that person isn't worth my time.
