Indianapolis Girl Missing
12-year-old Christina Tedder, left her apartment Christmas Eve
and walked about 100 yards over to a Shell Station. An employee
remembers seeing her there around 8pm. That's the last time
she was seen. She is an honor student, no history of getting
into trouble or running away.

No amber alert issued because there has been no witness to
foul play of any kind, which is a silly requirement before
one can be made.

Heres her pic:

1. Why the fuck is she walking to the gas station on Christmas Eve?
Let the unreasonable snarkiness begin right away!!

:silly:

I hope they find her. Every time I read a story like this I'm more certain that my kid isn't going anywhere by herself until she is trained to work with guns and knives and has at least one of each on her person when she is walking alone. And also, she has to learn martial arts. :scared:

6. I am very familiar

with this area...there is a small bakery right next door to the
apartment complex, and right next to that the gas station. cut
She did not even have to cross a street to get there, just
across a little area of grass. No trees, no embankments...nothing.
Would have taken a couple minutes at most. Very busy area.
It is also one of those food marts, so who knows why she went.

I am really upset about not issuing an Amber Alert, so it could
go out nationwide. I had no idea there had to be a witness.
It doesn't really look good for this young girl.

Edited: Forgot about the bakery.

2. Wonder why her parents let her (if they did) walk alone after dark
to a filling station? On a holiday eve, when presumably more crazies than usual are crazier than usual.

4. It was less than 100 feet from the house though...
Maybe she wanted to get some tape (if it had a 'mart' inside), maybe she went to get some milk... 100 feet isn't that far.

5. 100 yards
I wouldn't let my 12 year old walk alone after dark that far. Just my personal opinion.

3. What the fuck is wrong with people?
People that hurt children are one of the few things in this world that I could actually see myself enjoying hurting.

:grr:

9. The article did not give an area
of Indy where the girl lived. I know Indy well and just wanted to get some idea of where this occured.
