Matcom & one of his DU buddies were in my dream the other night.

I dreamed I was out partying with a bunch of DUers. We were all in a club, a good-sized room. I don't remember too many details--as is usually the case with my dreams--so feel free to include yourself in the party; you probably were there. Anyhoo, Matcom was the life of the party, strutting around talking to everyone, being his usual charming self. At one point, I was hanging out with folks in the back of the room and looked up to see Matcom stride up to the front of the room. With a microphone in his hand, he started singing; a number of other DUers got up there with him, and he was leading a sing-a-long in the bar. I was sitting on GOPisEvil's lap--I don't know why (I've never even met the man), but I do know that he was "happy to see me". That's all I remember.

I used to go to the Avenue on Mass Ave between Harvard and Central, but it's now something else. My family would go there for a greasy spoon breakfast once a week when I was little.

24. I had an excellent lamb gyro last summer.

The local Greek church has a table at a fair in my town. I love the use of parsley as something to eat rather than as a garnish. I tend to go to the church bazaars at different Greek churches in the area because I've had some of my best Greek food there. Nice homemade food.

32. When I was waiting in line for my gyro, a retarded guy was talking to me

(I think he was trying to sneak into the line by talking to someone--until he found out the food wasn't free.) Anyhoo, he noticed my Kerry pin and started saying that he didn't like bush. He said he thought bush was stupid. I thought that was pretty good: bush is so stupid that even a retarded guy can see it. LOL
