New Years suggestions.... help!

I'm going to a New Year's Eve party this year at an art gallery owned by a friend. The thing is, it's a costume party and we're supposed to go as a famous work of art (hey, *I* didn't come up with the idea...).

Being the spoil sport that I am, I really don't want to dress in anything other than slacks and an oxford, like any other day, dammit (well, shoes, sock and belt if you're going to get technical). But I just don't want to dress up.

Any suggestions on how I can get around this? Maybe someone knows of a famous work of art that features a guy wearing Dockers and an Oxford?
