My dog just fell off the couch.
We're sitting here nicely, keeping each other warm. She decided that she needed to stretch - which unbalanced her - THUD!

Boy, was she surprised!

9. I never had stupid pets
I had a stupid baby brother and sister who would constantly fall. I would sit them down on sofa, there's no way they could've moved...and the next thing you know I hear a big *BUP!* and there they were sprawled on the floor screaming. Stupid baby memories, Can't wait to have one of my own.

4. We have a cat that does that...
what's funny is that she will sit right on the edge of the couch, or bed, and lick or scratch, causing her to fall. The funny thing is that she doesn't even bother with the reflex action that cats are famous for to land on her feet. Talk about lazy!

5. reaction to an aftershock?
I don't mean that flip but dogs are so sensitive. And, I'm growing paranoid I guess.

14. My poor Twitch
was rescued by my son 3 yrs ago. The vet said she was about 11 or 12. Some bastard declawed her and then put her out(one ear gone to frostbite). She gets so relaxed in this safe place, then has nothing to grab with when she starts to slide. On the up-side, sometimes she falls to the seat of the couch, and doesn't even wake up.
