Don't know if I could handle that right now. :-) Maybe when she grows up a little bit. (She still nurses on my never-pregnant schnauzer--she's a big baby. :-) )

10. bubble bath, glass of wine/smoke a joint, heating pad. |
|
also, orgasm is a great cure for cramps, if you can stand to have sex or masturbate when you're on your period!
I just tried one of those ThermaCare heating patch thingys a couple of weeks ago ... it worked pretty well, and is much more convenient than a heating pad.

a hot bath - so hot you almost pass out. Aleve and a drink of your choice. Then put on the ThermaCare and get under a nice warm blanket.

I'm due in the next few days myself. I'm trying like heck not to go into PMS cry mode at the moment too. It never fails. PMS always coincides with the days I feel incredibly sad or lonely for other reasons. :( (I've got bronchitis too.)
edit: spelling

I guess I am lucky...I don't PMS as in feeling bad, but I have an incredible burst of energy the two days preceding. You can tell when that time approaches, because my house, my lawn, and my car are immaculate. Crazy, huh?

18. Shiatsu pressure point |
|
put your pinkie against your inner ankle bone, laying your hand so the index finger is toward the knee. Immediately above the index finger, on a line from the ankle bone, there is a spot you can press that will help the cramps a bit. Usually the spot that requires pressure may be slightly tender when you press it. Apply steady pressure with an index finger or thumb for 30 sec. at a time and see if that helps a bit.

That actually worked.
Or it could be the vodka, or a combination of both, but I definitely feel better.
Thanks! :hi:
