Parrot Thread!
So who else shares their life with a feathered chain-saw of the psittacine sort?

Here is Gideon, relaxing after a day of trying to destroy the broom and the vacuum cleaner:

1. I do, three in fact
Connie, our so lovely Sun Conure, I suspect though that spring is early with that one... yep the lovely nice bird is being replaced by the demon that emerges every spring. Darn it, it is not even a month into winter!

Then there is our old Cockatiel, he is oh 16 yeaers old and acting his years

Of course Cookie, our Nanday Conure, he is a good boy, even if he truly knows he is a parrot.

:-)

3. Eek, hormonal bird!
Gideon is in full mating-season mode too. :eyes: He's been attempting coitus with my arm at least twice a day for the last week.

It's nice to see the bird and kitty actually getting along...Gideon is a terror around cats, and wants to chase them!

8. I figure, if he didn't, he'd be lunch
Just today, my fat, two-toothed, spoiled cat Papa killed a little bird in my yard. I don't know how he kills so well with only two teeth - he must shake them. He was a stray before I adopted him and he can't seem to break himself of the killing habit (fortunately, he too is scared shitless by Buster!). :D
