"You're not acting like yourself."
Don't you hate when people say that?

I was just talking to my friend like normal, not acting any different (at least I don't think so, or wasn't trying to) and all of a sudden she goes, "You're not acting like yourself."

So I ask, "What do you mean?"

And she can't give me an answer! She's all, "I don't know...just not like yourself."

How can you think someone's acting "different"...if you can't identify said "difference"?

1. Women know.
So, tell us what's wrong. Why have you been acting so differently?

We can all see it in your posts. Wassamatta? You can tell us. We are your friends, not like the others.

3. Just my same 'ol...
miserable self. But this is who everyone has come to love!

Now if I was suddenly happy or something, then I could understand her concern.

2. I'm guessing she means "Out of character"
As to whether you should take any stock in what she said, that all depends on how well she knows you in the first place.

4. Tell her "Maybe YOU'VE changed and I'm
acting perfectly normal."

See how that works.

5. Why are you encouraging the guy to get in trouble?
