If you smoke marijuana that means you do drugs.
And that means you're a drug addict.

And drugs are bad. And drug addicts are worse.

Drugs are also illegal.

And potheads are dumb and never amount to much.

So please, don't break the law and don't be stupid. Don't do drugs. Drugs are bad.

30. "Ecstasy May Help Cancer Patients In Their Dying Days: Harvard Med"
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2004/12/29/we29.xml&sSheet=/news/2004/12/29/ixworld.html

The illegal drug ecstasy is to be given to cancer patients in America in a pilot study to investigate whether it can help the terminally ill to cope with their final days.

The trial by researchers at Harvard Medical School will test the drug's effects in helping to alleviate patients' fears, overcome any thoughts of suicide they have and make it easier for them to deal with their loved ones.

<<<snip>>>

Dr John Halpern, a Harvard research psychiatrist leading the four-month trial, said some hallucinogenic drugs, when used properly, could have medical benefits.

Ecstasy is "ego-friendly" and, unlike some painkillers, did not over-sedate people and make them foggy and unsteady, he said. Instead, it could reduce stress and increase empathy.

He cited stories of people dying of cancer who took ecstasy and afterwards were able to talk to their family and friends about death and other subjects they could not broach before.

"End-of-life issues are very important yet there are very few options for patients who are facing death," he said.

31. To quote a friend of mine
Only reason why pot is illegal is that the government can't regulate it like cigs, you can just grow your own pretty much anywhere. Which is true, my similiar point is that many advocates of harder punishment for drug laws are heavily fianced by the tobacco industry who thus oppose less harsh laws for pot becase they fear pot will become more popular than cigs. Now Ive only smoked cigs but I hear pot is better.

What a dumbass phrase.

Pot is harmless. Alcohol and tobacco will kill you 100 times faster.

Your body is safer smoking pot than driving a car or flying an airplane.

"Drug addicts" is a phrase that was born describing heroin junkies.

Don't confuse the two.

44. Not all drugs are equal. Use does not equal addiction
Which is why marijuana shouldn't be illegal. If teenagers are taught that marijuana is as bad as other stuff, teenagers think that other drugs must not be that bad if they've tried marijuana without any bad effects or know people who are regular users and very functional. Then when the marijuana supply in town goes dry due to some drug raids, they try crack offered by dealers who have no pot.

none that I've seen anyway. Now, telling people what to do seems to be WAY MORE addictive than many drugs.

BTW Tobacco is the hardest addiction to break, according to people who study addiction. Harder to break than Heroin.

And Drugs are not "bad" Drugs are drugs. "Drugs are bad" is your opinion.
