Grama never ever ever fed us steak |
|
Just went back and read one of my posts. I still don't waste food, even at a smorg. Does this do the starving in Africa any good? I don't know, but it is just something I do.

It was about a half inch thick and fried in a castiron skillet until it had all the flavor and consistency of a shoe sole. I didn't find out what a real steak was until my late teens.

3. Our elementary scholl principal made us feel guilty |
|
He didn't make us feel guilty about poor people. Many students at our school were poor. He made us feel guilty about the animal that died so we could have a nice lunch. It only helps the poor if you invite them over and share your meal so you won't have leftovers to throw away.

4. While I lived in Qubec I had a roomate from Ivory Coast |
|
one night, I had finished all but a little bit of spaghetti on my plate so I was just going to chuck it.... he looks at me opening the garbage and says, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I said, "There's only a couple mouthfulls there" He said, "Save it, you will be hungry later" Then my other roomate said, "Relax Axel...this is not Africa..we have plenty of food".....even Axel broke out laughing then.
I don't know te point of that story, but ther it is
