Poll question: Best Chicago Album
For those who don't know, they used to NOT suck, in fact they used to be pretty awesome...

8. Don't stick it out...
unless you're gonna do something useful with it. ;)

Seriously though, that is about the only Chicago song I ever really liked. We played it in jazz band in high school and I just loved playing the piano part. :)

6. But I didn't ask about that saccarine band
I mean, sure if you like bad English folk drowned in syrupy wall of sound string sections that's fine...but I'm talking about a band that can play here ;)

9. I Had Great Expectations for Chicago after CTA Came Out
There were some good, innovative moments on that album that I hoped could keep rock'n'roll moving in different, creative directions. After that, however, Chicago seemed determined to carve a niche for themselves in 'pop' (corporate pap) and never recovered that spark of creativity.

11. Chicago V was the first album I bought with my own money.
So I have to give it the sentimental vote. "Dialog" was brilliant. It might not have been the best Chicago album musically, but it's still my favorite.

13. Dialogue was great
V isn't a bad choice - it's more pop than their other stuff, but good quality pop. Nothing wrong with pop in itself...

I suggest you take a 20th century music history class.

19. I'd have to gently disagree, as a music geek...
CTA, in the early days IMHO is attractive for us musical geeks, who appreciate real instruments being played. Now after the synthesizer background came in, well, I am lukewarm to all of it.

You must HATE Tower Of Power. Granted, they're not exactly "rock" but they kick more ass than most.

23. What had Just You n Me on it?
I was in the back seat with my high school hunny in a skirt up to my booty going to the Sadie Hawkins dance listening to that.

Chicago was my very first concert.
