4. Yeah, but compared to the condition of some of the little slips
of paper that happened to be in my pockets at the time, I was actually saving the critters.

Online booksellers give away lightweight ones with every shipment.
Brick-and-mortar bookstores sell extremely inexpensive laminated ones.

Ask for a good one for next Xmas or your birthday, whichever comes 1st.
And if you don't have one...ANY Slip of heavy paper will do.
Dog-ear a book? Never, not even a paperback.

ARGH.
