2005 HAS to be a better year

This one has more than sucked! I lost the hearing and balance system in my left ear for some as yet unknown reason, my favorite cat died, we lost the election, my football team had an end of season melt down (losing now in bowl game), my basketball game got schooled last night. The media sucks and is getting worse every day. Hurricanes, tsunamis, war, war, war. And.....every day I wake up and * is still in charge of this country.

I say.....BRING ON 2005!

1. I am. Mother was in hospital w/ encephalitis (thought she was going to

die); was caught in a terrible flash flood (I'm OK; car is finished); election was lost; the tsunami, hurricanes, the war and yesterday, we got word that my father-in-law's (who is a widower) dog died, so now he's totally alone. I'm so over this year!?

2. To say 2004 sucked

doesn't even come close... my mom passed away last week, the worst thing (for me) in an already terrible year. And for the rest of the world there's terrorism, war, horrendous natural disasters, and George Bush. But what scares me is that as long as Bush and the other Republican wack jobs are in charge, 2005 could be even worse.

4. Tell me about it

I took on a new job that absolutely sucks and I am no good at, my truck just cost me $1700 (which was the cornerstone of my savings for my wedding-now that's gone), and of course the media wants us to believe that the US truly wants to become Nazi Germany Ver.2.0-the only good thing this year was getting engaged.
