DU Good Vibes Army: Update on My Friend.

Well, they went in. He got a 4 way bypass. 5 hours on the table. He's doing really well, as the reports go, and prognosis is excellent for him. He will be in for 5 days, barring complications, then return home to recuperate and rehab. I look forward to being able to contribute some of myself and my time to that process.

I found out today that 3 more guys I know from high school have just deployed to Iraq.

My heart is with you, your friend, and all of my friends and their families.

I have seen this all before. I never wanted to see this again, as long as I lived.

We are incapable of learning. We are a country with a terminal learning disability.

May they be safe, and find a way to return and reclaim their youth.
