I have to sell my Night Ranger...
Because there is absolutely NOTHING manly about them

Oh if you are feeling low and bummed out about your lot in life this time of year rest assured that there is someone much lower than you feel you are. That is the only way I can explain this website.

:scared:

2. oh man, black pants and white shoes
The whiter the shoes indicating either newer shoes or that you never had to walk in the dirt which means you had more money which == 80's bling

3. They airlifted him in for the album cover
Then. Such an industrial setting for the cleanliness of those shoes. Maybe the blonde guy who looks like the dude from Spinal Tap carried him...

(power chord interlude)

MOTORIN'! What's your price for flight?

Dunno what the hell that song's about, but I'll confess to liking it. :P

7. MOTORIN'
OOoh I remember the cringe that sent up my spine the first time I heard it.

You know being a fan of actual alternative music back then prepared me for the bizarro world of complete disbelief that we find ourselves in today. I just realized I am having the same feelings as I did in the '80s "WHAT IN THE HELL ARE PEOPLE THINKING? Oh they're not."

8. It was good enough for GRAND THEFT AUTO: VICE CITY
Have you heard the story about the Romeo Void saxophonist? He thought Never Say Never was forgotten until his nephew pointed out it was on the GTA:VC soundtrack. Brought tears of joy to his eyes.

9. Ah, remember when bands had logos?
It made it so much easier for groupies to get the band's name tattooed on their breasts. Those were the days....

23. Ozzy and Judas Priest were 'most doodled logos' in my high school days
Edited on Thu Dec-30-04 08:58 PM by Fighting Irish
Not to mention Def Leppard, AC/DC, Iron Maiden and Metallica.

Motley Crue were difficult because they changed their logo with each album.

21. I pity the poor gal...
...who has a faded Night Ranger tatoo on her breast. She's probably wondering, "What the hell was I thinking back then"?

22. How about one who gets a radio station logo tattooed on her hip?
There was a local "alternative" radio station here in Richmond about 10 years ago. They put on a big concert and the woman sitting behind us was very proud to show us the tattoo she got with the station logo (name and number on the dial), about 2 months after that they switched to another frequency. When I heard that I couldn't help but laugh out loud.

17. That band ... such potential....
All they could come up with was one good song: "Don't Tell Me You Love Me". That song kills. The rest ... yuk.
