Missing Doctor found
September 27, 2003 - The search is over for a missing Pensacola man.

(PENSACOLA, Fl) September 27 - Police stopped Jim Jeffery for running a red light in Bozeman, Montana. In May, Jeffery faked his death with an empty fishing boat in the Gulf of Mexico. At the time, he was in the middle of a costly divorce. The state attorney's office will decide whether to file criminal charges. Officials from five federal, state and county agencies spent much of their Memorial Day weekend looking for Jeffery.

Ooooo Jeffy, you in BIG trouble now boy.
And you ain't real bright, are ya?

1. take notes kids, red light means STOP
see how expensive a simple traffic violation can be?

don't speed, either, that probably would have been just as expensive in this case.

drive friendly, y'all!

2. If you believe in Him, God truly does work in mysterious
ways.

Think he'll be regretting trying to escape alimony for a while? He'll probably have lots of time to think about it.

Trof, keep us posted on this, willya? I'm one of those who loves to see the high and mighty crash and burn. Very un-Christian, but if I were perfect . . .

4. The whole alimony/divorce thing aside...
Edited on Sun Sep-28-03 08:23 AM by Padraig18
... reading this has absolutely enraged my boyfriend (a policeman) because of all the wasted man hours, and the unneccessary jeopardy this clown put the Coast Guard, et al, in. As he just said, "Every minute they wasted on that asshole is one minute they couldn't 'serve and protect' the honest, law-abiding citizens who pay their salaries!"

If the choice were left up to Tony, this gentleman would be getting 'striped sunlight' for the next SEVERAL years. :)

5. If you were the wife...
When they told you he was dead, this was the first thing you thought of. Then, as time went on, and he stayed dead, you maybe softened about the whole thing, and started to feel bad and maybe looked back at one or two good things about the guy. Now, wham, guess what, you were right, he was just as evil as you thought. Ha ha ha ha ha ha.

6. It never ceases to amaze, does it?
So many criminals are caught because they could not resist
breaking traffic laws. You'd think just once they'd have sense enough to not draw attention to themselves.

7. Yes!
Almost half of all felony arrests START as stops for traffic violations. Weird, isn't it? :eyes:

10. OMIFORKINGGOURD! DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE! ROFLMAO!
Edited on Sun Sep-28-03 09:02 AM by blondeatlast
Priceless . .

(snip)
Bozeman police Sgt. Ed Bens said Saturday that Jeffrey gave no address following the traffic stop that resulted in the issuance of three misdemeanors: driving on a suspended license, driving without proof of insurance and driving with a license plate not registered to his vehicle.
(unsnip)

One's death would be a great reason to have one's license suspended, I suppose.

That is the funnies unintentional thing I've read in a long time.
