Why am I obsessed with The Karate Kid?

I first watched it a while ago and now every time its on (which has been a lot the last few days) I'm compelled to watch it! I love it.

I remember standing in line forever just to get in.

They are movies that your kids can watch and you don't worry about body parts or language (or excessive violence).

KK2 could have been done a lot better too. My god, On Okinawa? It could have been incredibly rich with the history of martial arts and the people who practice them.
