Bubble baths are a good thing
If I was a kitten, I'd purr. Someone pour me a saucer of milk.

3. How does someone take away your bathtub?
I'm sure that should violate a rental agreement.

5. you would think, right? well, there was a bad baaad plumbing situation,
walls had to be ripped out, and it was mostly my place. at the same time my next door neighbor's place was being renovated and he had a super deep old fashioned tub. so they promised to replace my shallow tub with this great old fashioned deep one. i was soooo excited.
i came back after a few days out of town and they had put in this shitty shower!!
can you fucking believe? i think the workman were just really lazy and didn't want to do it.
fuckers. i hate them !

12. I know
Some baths are medicinal in nature...you know when...but others are pure luxery.

I love bath bombs from Lush. Bath oil. All manner of lovely scented bath products. And music...jazz is perfect...and wine.

4. For a short time,
I was taking showers all over my building. Had lots of keys. Inconvenient, to say the least.

13. Everything was ripped up.
No shower, tub, etc. usable for about 4 weeks. Sometimes, I had to go down one flight to use the toilet. I can't tell you how thrilling that was.

More recently, I had MAJOR plumbing repair to the shower. I am thrilled. I can take a normal shower. It is so exciting. It cost a lot, but what a blessing.

Many people in my building (78 yr. old bldg.) have such an uneven, impeded water flow that they can use the bathtub only.

14. As long as you consider the bathtub a luxury,
it's not so bad. If you are satisfied taking a shower most of the time, this is something you can endure. I'm a shower taker, so once every five years would be a "frequent" bath for me. I just don't take baths anymore. Never really liked them to begin with.
