BALDWIN, N.Y. -- Two Long Island, N.Y., women who sold hot dogs and sodas from a truck have been arrested on charges of offering something not on the menu.

Nassau County police said the women were arrested Wednesday afternoon for offering and agreeing to engage in sexual conduct with others "in return for a fee."

Police started watching the truck more than a week ago after receiving a tip.

The two women were charged with prostitution and were released on desk appearance tickets. They're scheduled to return to court on Jan. 10.
