Mischief has developed a really mean habit. |
|
He has decided that he must no longer sleep on my bed while I am there and pounces at any part of my body in the morning that moves and walks around constantly (including trampling over me). Then if I get up, he plops down in the middle of the bed and contentedly falls asleep for the rest of the day.

1. Yep. Sounds about right. |
|
I've started sleeping with a squirt gun under my pillow.

2. I think all cats and dogs develop that |

mean habit, or at least similar to it.
I know my cat does the same thing, but she will also sleep on the bed with me.
Sleep, trample, sleep, trample, bite my nose, trample, etc.

3. Jasmine is not shy about poking me in the eye with her sharp claw... |
|
...when she's hungry and I'm asleep.
Last night, she was fed, but she kept begging for something. I finally had to lock the damn door. I wonder what that was. Any ideas?

When my hubby gets up in the morning, he lets the cat in. By the time he leaves, the cat is practically snoring, he's so cozy. However, within ten minutes, he's in the bedroom, yowling to go out. Drives me crazy - I'm usually just dozing off again.
When I get up, I let him back in and he sprawls on the kitchen floor and attacks my legs and feet as I try to move around him and make my tea and toast.
We are here to cater to their needs and serve as their amusement. That's all.
