It certanly is not a year I will look back on with great affection. I am just staying in, ordering a burger, and renting a few movies. It does not feel right celebrating. Hopefully this time next year, I will feel differently.

I'll probably be sitting here in front of the computer tonight when the new year rings in. Then I'll go to bed hoping for better things in 2005. One good thing did happen to me in 2004. I bought a house, so the year wasn't a total loss. But I'd trade still living with my parents for a Kerry presidency any day.
