Who Has Second Toes Longer Than Their Big Toes?
Inspired by JimmyJazz's thread, I just took a picture of my own feet:

If you have a digital camera handy, take a picture of YOUR feet and post it. If you can't post a picture, let us know if your second toe is longer than your big toe, the same length, or shorter.

BTW, The Princess wants to see LOTS of pictures of male DU-er feet!!!!

She could scratch my back!

I'm not kidding. Man it was freaky. She could hang from trees with those toes! She's probably typing on a board somewhere right now (and not with fingers!).

She threatened to eat Chinese food using chopsticks with them.
She scratched her cat's ears with them.

And she was a real babe, too. just think Katie Holmes mixed with the feet of Kira (from Planet of the Apes).

The longer second toe is how we may identify one another. Just observe us whenever feet are bared. There is a signal, which I am commanded never to reveal.

But we all, with the longer second toe, know what I mean.

28. Second toes are longer than the big toes and third toes are
as long as the big toe.

I also have always used my toes to pick things up, my mother had us exercise to do this when we were kids, something about helping our balance and keeping us from wearing funny shoes.

(Have a camera, just no way to post)

...after it had been moved. We hadn't unpacked our china yet, so it was in a box sitting on the kitchen floor. And as I walked from the master bedroom through the kitchen one night, I cracked my pinky toe on the right foot against that heavy box of dishes.

The next day we had to go buy me bigger shoes, because all of a sudden, none of my shoes fit...

38. Google finds lots of information for Morton's Toe...
What is Morton's Toe?

Morton's Toe is a common forefoot disorder where the second toe is longer than the big toe. The big toe is called the hallux.

What Causes Morton's Toe?

Morton's toe leads to excessive pressure on the second metatarsal head. The second metatarsal head is behind the second toe at the ball- of-the-foot. Excessive pressure causes pain similar to the discomfort associated with metatarsalgia. The constant pressure placed on the longer second toe while walking or standing can lead to callus formation under the second metatarsal head.

Can Morton's Toe be Treated?

Yes. Treatment includes wearing proper footwear. Proper footwear usually contains a high and wide toe area. Sometimes, it may be necessary to buy shoes that are a half size larger to accommodate the larger second toe.

A metatarsal pad may also be used to help reduce stress on the ball of the foot.

Damn, now I'm not so sure I want to admit my second toes are longer.

Do I win back points if ALL my toes are unnaturally short to begin with, thus rendering my second toes the only normal sized ones??

Guess I have to be content to be a mutant. :silly:

of people have this (longer second toe)but I didn't know it was a "disorder." I always end up with shoes a half size or more larger as I can't get my foot in the shoe size which I supposedly wear when my foot is measured.

Right foot 2d toe is shorter than it used to be due to a tragic accident at Bust Your Butt Falls, NC. (I busted my toe instead.) Actually, it looks like gazillions of years in shoes meant for people with longer big toes has curled both of my 2d toes to the point that they aren't longer anymore. Anyway, they used to be.
