Oooh, neat! I can hear my watch all the way up here! |
|
Okay, I'm easily entertained.
I just realized that when my watch is turned to the bottom of my wrist so that the watch face is pressed against the glass topper of my desk as I type, that I can hear it ticking. It took me a little while to figure it out. ("Where is that ticking coming from?" - looks in garbage, looks in drawers...)
If I turn the watch so that the face is on the top of my wrist, then I don't hear it anymore.
It's like my whole desk is ticking, vewwy vewwy quietwy, but ticking nonetheless.

But hey, if you want to fill in while I'm on maternity leave, the woman who's temping while I'm out just shared that she could only stay through the beginning of March.

|
it was my watch. That must have been funny. Looking for something that's not even there.

to stop whatever it is you're working on and go home early.
Or, if you're working at home, you have permission to leave the house and get an ice cream.
