My family has avoided fast food for 3 1/2 weeks
I decided to make some changes about a month back, i posted that here and got mucho support which i'm very thankful for. My daughter watched Supersize Me, she's 10 and she swears she will never eat fast food again. Anyhow, i've lost around 10 lbs. judging by my clothes, i'm not getting near a scale this time and that is actually helping me i think. I will post another update next month and hopefully when the summer gets here i'll have before and after pictures to post.

3. Fast food is death
Good for you! Once you are on a healthy diet for a month or so, it becomes a habit that is a lot easier to maintain. Nice work! Keep up with the veggies!

4. I'm really happy that my kids wants no part of fast food anymore
after hearing that McDonalds burgers allow parts from up to 1,000 cows in each patty she decided no more.

5. It's easy to boycott fast food
once you have an idea how it's made. McDonald's takes advantage of their customers.

Keep up the good work.

parents and now some of them rented supersize me and aren't eating fastfood anymore either.

10. That's excellent.
I never saw "Supersize Me", but have read about meat processing. Also, many years ago, PBS had a one hour documentary about fast food companies and fast food workers. The exploitation of the workers was very interesting.

I once had a friend, who frequently diets for weight loss, ask me how I could steadfastly resist eating certain things. I told her it was a lot easier to boycott than to diet.

8. Good for you!
Although I really want to, I haven't watched it yet. I'm too scared to learn what I've been eating for all these years. But - nonetheless, I've successfully cut out fast food for the past couple weeks (except for that damn Frosty the other day). IMO, fast food is just about the worst thing you can do to your body. I've been cooking a lot more -- and the other day at the grocery store, I looked in my cart & everything was fresh ... veggies, fruits, herbs, lean meats, breads. Was quite proud.

Way to go, you!
