18. Stands for "Jesus Christ"
It requires going back to some Greek letters, but it works.

For purposes of THIS discussion, the "h" is a transliteration of the greek letter X, which comes out with a sound like the german "aCH" or "loCH ness". So Christ in Greekness is more "HRistos" which led, apparently, to the latin romans to take Iesu Hristos and shorten it to IHS.

You owe me one dollar for this information.
