I can't frickin believe it! The buyer of our Irvine home just released their contingency and we can be assured that this is pretty much a done deal.

Tomorrow I will give my 2 weeks notice at work! ... and I am throwing one hell of a party in 3 weeks.

If your a DU'er in the Orange County area let me know and I'll send you an invite!

They are going to shit a brick at work! I am totally impossible to replace on short notice but "Say love-eeee" I'm out of there!!!

I will be posting less than usual over the following weeks, so be patient... or you'll become one!

How cool. I'm a native CA girl who bought out of the CA rush and moved to the other coast -- up into Vermont. Quite a different getaway, but I hear you. We sold the house in San Diego before they even put a "for sale" sign on the lawn. Adios amoebas -- I walked in and quit and...they didn't believe me. Until I walked outta the door at the end of the semester with a big smile on my face.
