Jihad Muhammad is expected to be the Bearcats starting point guard this season after a stellar two-year stint at San Jacinto (Tex.) JC, where he earned JUCO All-American honors. He is the prototype point guard, who is an excellent passer, and has the ability to score like a two-guard. He possesses good outside shooting range and is an excellent free throw shooter.

Full name is Jihad Ahmad Muhammad...born Sept. 19, 1984 in Orange, N.J....son of Ahmad and Sharon Muhammad...six brothers and seven sisters...playing video games, fishing and going to movies are among favorite spare time activities...intends major in criminal justice.
