6. From the link this struck me has funny ...I don't know why |
|
It is also possible to make the feces unappetizing by sprinkling them with hot sauce, lemon juice or anything the dog finds distasteful. Some dogs like hot sauce and will consider it a garnish, so find out what your dog does not like before using it.

the kind with crunchy cat litter stuck all over them. The she hurls it back up, usually under the bed.
I believe she is working on a multimediea painting of elvis under there, or else the virgin mary.

We have two dogs and the Springer eats the poodles' poop but only when it is frozen. We have tried lots of things including giving the dogs a supplement that is supposed to make the poop distasteful. It's hard to clean it up when it is cold as it melts and freezes into the ice. The only way to stop it is to watch the Springer and when he starts digging, yell at him to stop. Usually works.

She would follow my cat around in the back yard - at a respectable distance - until the cat defecated. Then she would go after it like it was filet mignon.

Always petrified poop, thankfully. Sometimes her own, sometimes others'. But there is nothing I can do, she grabs it before I can do anything about it most of the time. Waaa.

17. All dogs love cat poo. There's a reason... |
|
Felines have notoriously inefficient digestive systems and a substantial amount of cat poo is actually poorly digested meat.
Cat poo is truly a gourmet delight for dogs - tenderized hunks of mystery meat in little sausage-like snacks.
And it's really not that bad for them if your cats are healthy and they are picking up the Kitty Roca away from the litterbox (for example, my neighbor's cat uses my backyard for a litterbox, shunning her actual box.)
It's the addition of cat litter and exposure to cat pee in the box that is problematic and potentially unhealthful.
