Ever seen the Harlem Globetrotters? |
|
Went when I was a kid, and it was a blast. Meadowlark Lemon, Curly Neal, Geese Ausbie. One of my fondest childhood memories.
I'm taking my daughter to see them tonight at the Savvis Center here in St Louis, and we're excited.
It's kind of cool to be able to take her to something that I had so much fun watching as a child. This is a very sentimental moment for me.
Anyone seen them lately? Are they as still as good as they were "back in the day?"

1. I saw them a billion years ago.... |

in Jacksonville, FL. I can't even remember if it was a youth group or field trip or what, but I remember I loved it.

4. I saw them numerous times as a kid |
|
on both tv and in person and I saw them about a year ago. Maybe I'm just getting old (nothing is as good as when I WAS YOUR AGE) but it just wasn't as good. Many of the same routines but also a lot of stuff that I don't care for (mainly they stop the game, clock running, and break into a dance routine.)
