I'm having minor chest pains... |
|
just little, quick sharp pains right in the middle of my chest. Should I be concerned? I quit smoking 5 days ago and in the past when I have quit for this long, my chest has felt good. This is weird.
I am only asking because I am too poor to go to the doctor right now and I am sure there is a doctor here in the DU house. Right? :-)

4. I can understand your concern. |
|
Although I don't have an answer for you. Last night for about two hours before I went to bed I had a constant quivering, fluttering sensation in my chest in the area where my heart is. I felt OK this morning except for being a little more tired than usual.

5. This is no expert advice, but, |
|
it could very well be nic withdrawal, too. Your body does some funky stuff without nicotine. If it really concerns you, definitely see a doctor.

8. Take some aspirin and go to an emergency room |
|
If you can't get to an emergency room call 911-it is the health plan for those with no insurance. They may ask you to pay, take a dollar with you. Don't worry the rest of us will pick up the tab and I don't mind one bit.

Chest pain constitutes a true medical emergency, and you should call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room immediately.
