and realized David Hasselhoff for President could bridge the divide between "old Europe" and America! I have no idea about his political affiliation, but ask yourself...

Friend of mine was on a VIP dive trip with him on a liveaboard dive boat - Cocos Island (known as the Island of Sharks). Everybody loved him, but he ran out of air TWICE at 80 feet or so and had to be "buddy-breathed" to the surface. He also didn't follow some pretty important pre-dive instructions about where to go underwater to SAFELY observe large schools of hammerhead sharks. When the boat landed at the island, practically the whole polulation turned out to give Hasselhoff a very excited welcome.
