I am "first author" on a report I wrote :)

I know it's a tad dorky, and oh-so-academic, but I am just so very excited because this is the first time that I:
1. led a research project and
2. produced a report for my research institute and
3. got first author status.

I already told all my family and friends, but I felt like I wanted to tell more people. So, I thought I'd just throw it out to the lounge.

I am trying to reconceptualize the way we view heroin so that it is not viewed as a moral/medical/punitive issue, but simply a health issue. I'm a big proponent of harm reduction. Didn't start out doing heroin research, but can't help but love it. who da thunk it? :shrug:
