Really, it's gone from typically just below freezing for weeks to about 60 in one day.

3. My house ALWAYS creaks and pops.
When it's really cold there's this pipe between the bedroom and the kitchen that goes BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG. It sounds EXACTLY like a human being is knocking on the wall from the inside.

The funny thing is, I *am* a kind of jumpy person, and that kind of stuff used to weird me out, but it's never bothered me in this house. I think this house has good karma; I've felt at home since I moved in. :)

4. Right now it's down right balmy out...
Mid 50's in New Jersey in the middle of January...very strange! But the cold front is moving in tomorrow and it will be back in the 20-30's by tomorrow night

5. Its in the mid 60's here in maryland
and we have the windows open. Though from what i hear, we will not have them open tomorrow or for quite a few days.

Thats assuming the weathermen are correct.
