Beware the Beast Man: Now with Fewer Carbs! |
|
I started a no-carb diet today. My wife has been on it for two weeks, and I swear she's lost at least 10 pounds.

1. Would you give me some free pointers? |

:-)
I regained the weight I'd lost over the summer.
Of course, I've been eating loads of junk food for the last 2 months, so that would help explain it... :-(

3. It's called the "Cleveland Clinic" diet. (there's no such thing) |

You allegedly stand to lose 50 pounds in 2 1/2 months (realistically, I'll shoot for 10, maybe 20). It's also been called the Mayo Clinic diet. I'm highly suspicious of it, but heck, it seems to work.
You know, the more I read about it, the more I think this may not be the hottest idea. I do plan to modify it somewhat so I rely on less fatty foods.

2. Just be careful of cholesterol. |

Beyond that, best of luck - eating habits can be difficult to change, I wish you success.
