...from the last four days:
Friday night driving south in NJ along the Garden State Parkway...see a white van with a couple of bumper stickers. One stands out: "I love my country, but I fear my government."
I have to get that one.
Sunday evening, driving north on the return trip, I tune in a fundie channel and decide to listen for a few minutes. "This show isn't to discuss the merits of various birth control methods...but why people now fear having babies....We're going to discuss 'baby power' God's magnificent plan and how it involves babies....why would you end a life with Satan's arrow of abortion? My wife and I have seven children; four girls, and after them, three sons...(bible quote to follow) 'Sons are a heritage...the hand of a warrior are sons born in one's youth...Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them.'"
He went on and on talking about having babies and baby power but rarely used the word children or the phrase 'having children'. Anyone doubt where he stood on eliminating not only abortion, but birth control if he could, and the right of men's precedence over women?
Monday morning, flipping through the cable channel menu, "The 700 Club -- Fundraiser".
Um...okay...so this was a two-hour show rather than the usual length. But "fundraiser"? I thought that ALL their shows were fundraisers.

1. It's all in their phrasing |

They don't care about having and raising children, it's about the babies. And they aren't pro-life, they're pro-birth and I say it's high time we start calling them on their shit.
They never lay out plans on what happens after the birth of these children that aren't wanted and can't be properly cared for. And they continue to cut the social programs that would take care of these children. Fucking hypocrites.
