10. Technically he was born in 1705
Because the British Empire was still using the Gregorian calendar until 1751, but I would call the year 1706 because it became 1706 in March.

12. Actually, the Catholics switched in 1585 I think
and the Russian Orthodox people switched in the early 20th century as Isaac Asimov wrote an essay explaining how the switch "made" him 13 days older by the calendar.
