Why does Bush have a black mouth?

Is it because his upper lip covers his teeth? Or is it because of the evil crap that is coming out of his mouth?
I was just struck by that again as I saw him interviewed on ABC news. Every time he speaks, I do not see teeth or a tongue, just a black hole.
Anybody else notice that?
