Who saw 'Boston Legal' sunday? |
|
I just got into this show, because Candice Bergen is on it now, and I think she's great.
This past Sunday, she delivered a quote that me laughing out loud. The discussion was about evolution and God, she said something like this:
"I believe in evolution. Who, after watching the Presidential Debates, deny that we came from monkeys."
I was in hysterics...and to top if off, Betty White said 'douchebag'!!! :)
Now that's television...overall, helluva show, amazing writing!

I watched David E. Kelley's other 2 shows 'Boston Public' and 'Ally McBeal', and its same excellent writing, witty, great topics...lots of humor.

I still can't figure out why BP got dropped. It seemed like a good show and had a pretty decent audience.

under Rhona Mitra's desk.   I can't believe they did that on prime time network TV.

Somebody put that show on DVD. I'm too lazy to watch TV shows but put it in a movie package and I will watch.

... for the last 5-6 episodes.
James Spader and William Shatner are both incredible. The writing is excellent, this is a show that keeps your attention the whole hour and drops the occassional nugget of brilliance that you don't see on TV very often.
Two thumbs way up :)

I missed it again this week. I stupidly assumed it wasn't on because of the Golden Globes.
Fuckity-fuck-fuck-fuck!
Who here (besides me) was pissed that James Spader was passed by on the Best Actor award??? I soo thought he would win it. Was irked that he didn't.

Yeah, me, too. He's great on Boston Legal, and gave me a whole new reason to watch The Practice last season. I'm glad the powers that be at ABC decided to spin his, Rhona Mitra's, and Shatner's characters off into their own show. I haven't missed an episode.
OT: Rhona Mitra, mmmmm....

"She can still pump my chubby" LOL!
It'll be great if Shore is forced to hire Betty White's character as his secretary.
