1. You have got to be kidding me...
lame duck presidents are only bad for the president when there isn't a partisan congress, senate, supreme court, and military.

He can do what ever the hell he wants now because he doesn't need to worry about getting re-elected. Looking at the unscrupulous things he did in his first 4 years with an election looming over his head, just wait for what come around the pick for the next four years.

2. Indeed I'm not kidding.
The president's coattails just got alot shorter, if you think about it. No longer can he ask congressmen, etc., to place the importance of re-election above their own personal viewpoints.
