Ok, when is "Napoleon Dynamite" supposed to start getting funny?
I've been watching it for 20 minutes and I'm bored to tears. Does this movie ever kick into gear or is it purely for idiots and high people to enjoy?

2. It's sort of like the Blair Witch Project
A movie that actually sucked, but it's trendy to pretend you liked it.

3. Not enough dope
on the planet to make that film funny.

It has its few ok moments though. I still liked it better than the Austin Powers movies but not by much.

6. I totally agree!
I was basically bored throughout this movie. Funny that it seems like I'm the only one who feels this way (other than you, of course)..

7. It kicked in after about half an hour for me
I hated it, started to turn it off a few times, but by the end I liked it. It's not the year's best film, but it was better than Lord of the Rings, and it's over a lot quicker. And that "whole milk" line will stay with you longer than you think.

9. This is Stephanie. Not Michael. If you are over the age of 18,
and have graduated from HS, and like to think on a certain emotional level--then it is not going to get funny. At all. Ever. Turn it off now and spare yourself.

Michael just told me to bite myself..."bite me." He loved it. I don't get it; he likes it.

It is concentrated boredom pressed on a disk.

Boredom can be funny, though.

13. ding-ding-ding
boredom CAN be funny and imo, not my wife's however, ND reaches that goal.

It's a slow paced, but funny, brush over of some pop culture.

11. It never gets funny and never has a point!
It's like watching CPA's work for two hours, except not as much fun.

Trust me on this one, just turn it off and do something more amusing, like picking lint out of your belly-button, 'cause if you're waiting for humor or plot, it's not coming!

12. It's funny if you're from Idaho
But, then, everything is funny when you're from Idaho. There just isn't a whole lot that's very fresh or entertaining in that state, which I kind of think is what the movie is all about.

14. Just hold your breath waiting for the funny parts ...
... and you won't be forced to sit through the entire thing!
