3. Denver in a blowout
Edited on Fri Oct-03-03 01:07 PM by HawkeyeX
37-3 at Arrowhead.

Denver's D is excellent against the run, and they can corral Priest, and they're getting better in the passing defense. Trent Green doesn't handle well under pressure, so one of the things that makes Denver's D great - is that they can create tremendous pressure.

P.S. Daunte Hall is a non-factor.

6. I agree
Edited on Fri Oct-03-03 01:10 PM by VermontDem2004
but not 37-3, I seen all of the Broncos games this year except the Lions one because it wasn't on TV in my area, but they shut down Dillon, Tomlinson, and Garner. They had problems against Detroit's run game but I think it was more of a letdown because they were looking foward to KC. The speed of the linebackers is amazing and they can apply the pressure which has helped them blow teams out.

See post #1 to see why the Broncos can't lose, and about Dante Hall, don't kick it to him.

5. I don't think DAL has been playng *that* bad....
Dallas is a 7+ underdog to the Cards?

Admitted, I'm a Dallas fan, but I don't think they've been playing THAT crappy the past coupla weeks.

Min over Atl
Buff over Cin
NO over Carolina (No, I'm not drunk)
SEA over GB
JAX over SD
KC over Den
NE over TN
MIA over NYG
Wash over Phil (love the QB, hate the team w/ a passion reserved only for SF)
PIT over CLE
DET over SF (not because I hate SF)
TB over IND

Don't do points very well, so it's a good thing I don't bet on the games...lol

7. No, Dallas if the favorite
and I don't think they've been play THAT well. They've been playing solid, but I think they're due for a let down.

8. Against Arizona?
They are full of young and inexperienced players who would likely be backups on other teams, of course there a few exceptions, Dallas a solid defense, the best set of recievers in the NFL(Glenn, Galloway, Bryant) right now. Dallas will win, Arizona hasn't won a regular season game at Dallas in their last 12 trys.

12. Not sure what you mean by cover
Edited on Fri Oct-03-03 01:33 PM by VermontDem2004
I didn't realize if=is. I thought you were basically saying Dallas would be the favorite if they did play more then just solid.

9. My mistake...
Ah...O-kay. Calling points is a difficult concept to me...lol.

I'll say this, if the offensive line keeps up the pressure they've been illustrating and gives Carter and Hambrick some good blocking AND if the defense plays like they have been I'll expect a win. But having been a Dallas fan since '78, I'm the first to say that we just don't know anymore :)

18. Yeah beating Det, Cincy, SD and Oak
who are a combined 1-11 and old ass Oakland. Oakland could barely beat Cincy and they are a shell of thier old selves. Denver is a pretender, they will be routed on Sunday. Plummer will throw 3-4 picks and Bronco fans and thier lying coach will have to wait till next year.

15. Saints are going down, folks.
Take the Panthers, give the points.

Saints defense is decimated. Everybody's hurt. Iffy at 100%.

All you have to do to beat the Saints is shut down my man Deuce. Given their brutal D, Carolina's up to the task.

Jake Delhomme has something to prove, he was our backup for 4 or 5 seasons. We let him go.... this could be good, could be bad. Jake's streaky.

The only thing the Saints have going for them is that they're playing an undefeated team. Carolina could have a collective freak out, but I doubt it.

Saints 17
Panthers 35

Just my psyche. And as always... no wagering. :)

17. Well, Aaron Brooks...
Aaron had a torn something or other in his shoulder reattached in the offseason. He has exhibited no ill effects so far. But, I'm beginning to think his problem is mental... talk about streaky. He'll throw 4 INTs and still have this goofy ass grin on his face. I used to find it endearing, but no longer. The guy doesn't have his head on straight. Pity, great athlete.

19. Haslett should try starting Bouman.
He was our backup QB here for the Vikes for so many years. Didn't get a lot of chances to show his stuff, but when he did... hoo boy. He was at the helm of a 42-24 drubbing of the Titans a couple of years ago. Great arm, good reads, can scramble to make plays.

Of course, having Randy Moss on the field to throw the ball to does help a great deal. :)
